Recipe:
Here's a little something sure to please even the pickiest eater..and the best part- it's sooo easy!
Crabmeat and Shrimp Casserole
*1-1/2 lb. large onion
*1 large bellpepper
*2 ribs celery, cut up
*2 cans cream of mushroom soup
*2 lbs. shrimp
*1 lb. crabmeat
*3/4 cup bread crumbs
*1 tsp margarine
*Cayenne Pepper to taste
Saute onions, bell pepper and celery 10-15 minutes (until soft). Add soup and cook 15 minutes. Add shrimp and crabmeat, then sprinkle in cayenne pepper to taste-- cook 20 minutes. Remove from heat and add bread crumbs. Pour into 9X13 casserole dish and top with a light layer of bread crumbs. Dot with margarine and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.
Ohh, chere, dat's good, yeah! As we like to say down here in Louisiana!
